The department has collaboration with various national and international organizations to engage in quality research and training in the field of occupational and environmental health. The major achievements thorough these collaborations are numerous, amongst all the most significant contribution is towards the development of Global burden of Disease estimates 2012 using datasets generated from various research projects carried out by the department. Assisting WHO efforts in increasing access and improving quality of delivery for occupational health services, development of human resources for addressing workers health, and developing evidence for action for integration of environmental concerns in relation to workers health are few added significant contributions. Association with various organizations had facilitated faculty and student exchange programmes for teaching and research, development of joint research proposals, organizing workshops/seminars/conferences and sharing the learning resources.
