Activities

  • The Grant writing workshop was conducted on 3rd July 2014, as a part of the SRU IQAC training activity. About 150 delegates attended. The intent of the program was to provide a broad overview on the grant writing process. The topics covered include: fundamentals of good grant writing, general preparation of the grant application (i.e., specific aims, research design, budgets, analysis of reviews and strategies for re-submission), and an overview about the various available funding mechanisms (i.e. information about Young Scientist/ Young Investigator Awards and the funding from regular & special announcement schemes, etc).
  • Seminar cum Workshop on ‘Information, Communications & Technology in Teaching, Learning & Research’ was conducted on 6th & 7th March, 2015. A total of 165 participants attended the seminar. The focus of the workshop was to encourage and enable the faculties and academicians in integrating ICT in to their daily teaching programme
  • Mr. Prakash Chand- Head, Indian Citation Index (ICI) delivered a Guest lecture on “Indian citation index” on 13th August 2015 in the dental college auditorium. About 300 delegates participated and benefited out of the programme.
  • National Conference on ‘Setting Benchmarks in Teaching & Learning through ICT’ was conducted at Sri Ramachandra University on 5th & 6th February 2016. The IQAC of SRU organized the conference in a Wi-Fi enabled “smart” lecture theatre. 164 delegates attended the conference. It is partially funded by the National Assessment and Accreditation council, Bengaluru.
