Research focus
Our key area of strength is with laparoscopic surgeries, we have indeed come a long way in this 5years in terms of advancement in laparoscopic techniques.
We stand proud to have hosted RALCON in the year 2012, it was an international advanced laparoscopic workshop graced by eminent foreign faculty and national delegates.
Having promoted regular sessions in our skills lab we have been able to harness and improve surgical skill more effectively.

Department brings out 16 quality thesis every year as part of the pg teaching program.
All the junior residents of the department, as part of their training, perform on aspects of surgical care their thesis under the guidance of a senior consultant. This helps us in evaluating the existing treatment protocols and make changes as when necessary, thus achieving better patient out come. Our consultants are also involved in various research project.
Conduct of Rapid review course ANNUALLY for PGs all over India.
