Vikram and Vidya Sudha: A special day with special
children December
13, 2006 Vidya
Sudha is a school of varied learning and activity created
and driven solely for one purpose - to mould children
with special needs to become one with society and in turn,
to change the society’s mindset toward such children
and make everyone one with each other - everyone’s
special, is what we believe in.
We celebrated our 2nd Anniversary on 13th December 2006,
with moving words from the dignitaries present, a colourful
and fun variety song-and-dance
programme by the teachers and students of our school,
a verbal and visual journey
through the 2 years of progress, some heartfelt words
by the people’s darling Chiyaan Vikram, ending very
touchingly with hours spent being with the teachers, the
children and the founders of this noble establishment.
The chief guest of the day Dr.John.H.Stone , Director
Center for International Rehabilitation Research Information
and Exchange, University of Buffalo,New York, USA. Dr.
Stone stressed on the need for research in the areas of
Early Intervention.
Mr.Chiyaan Vikram who was the guest of honor spoke straight
from the heart, where he spoke of being with the school
for over 2 years, the time he had spent there and that
he is proud and honoured to represent such a noble establishment.
Vikram not only came at the very beginning of the
function, but also stayed until the very end and listened
to every word that was spoken by a teacher, administrator
or child.
