CME on Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura

Department of Pathology had organized a CME on Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura. 50 Faculties and postgraduates from across specialities like Pathology, Pediatrics, Physiology and Transfusion Medicine were benefitted by the program . The experts from field of Pathology , Adult and Paediatric hematology discussed about the recent updates about the topic. The highlights of the CME included the Role of T regs in the pathogenesis, pros and cons of various treatment modalities available for the treatment of the disease in adults and children. The Program was presided by Dr. Anandan – Dean Medical college and Dr. Prathiba- Controller of Examinations, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research.
