Courses offered
The department offers MCI approved D.M.training in the speciality of Medical Oncology super specialty program with an intake of two students per academic year. Thisprovides a DM course – a three- year programme waswhich started in 2018-19.
Training provided
The Division of Medical Oncology provides training to DM Medical Oncology postgraduates in Medical Oncology, Hematology , BMT, Pediatric Oncology and Palliative care. Apart from DM students residents, academic training to MD General Medicine, MS OG residents M Pharm , Nursing and AHS students is also done.

The academic training includes case presentations, journal clubs, intensive care unit grand rounds, staff and student seminars, mortality audit, Oncology conferences. Faculty and senior residents are trained in invasive lines, PICC lines, routine ward procedures are done such as ascitic tapping , pleural tapping, intrathecal chemo.
