M.B.A. (HOSPITAL AND HEALTH SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT):M.B.A (Hospital and Health Systems Management) is a 2 year full time programme started in 2001, approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The programme has been restructured in the year 2015 with CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) as per UGC norms which has a wide range of electives to gain insight into various diverse aspects and challenges with regard to Healthcare Management.
The objective of the program is to build knowledge, develop skills and expose the students to real work situations in Hospitals and Healthcare organizations. Students are not only exposed to Health care sector but also to other industries such as pharmaceutical companies, IT & ITES, Insurance, consultancies etc.,.
B.B.A (Hons.) (Hospital and Health Systems Management)
B.B.A (Hospital and Health Systems Management) is a 3 year full time programme started in the year 2015. The programme has been structured under CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) with a wide range of electives in order to gain strong foundation in Business administration.
POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN HOSPITAL & HEALTH SERVICES MANAGEMENT
(One year part-time course for working professionals)
PGDH & HSM was approved in the year 2015-2016 for the benefit of working Professionals. It encompasses organization and quality management of all types of services provided in a hospital. This course has been designed with an aim to prepare professionals with good leadership skills, managerial and administrative skills, having an eye for achieving quality standards in all spheres of Healthcare management and to be launched in 2017-18.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP & INTRAPRENEURSHIP (E& I)
(Six months value added certificate course)
E & I is a certificate course systematically structured in the year 2015, to allow students in the university to gain insight into the diverse aspects with regard to Entrepreneurship and to be a significant contributor to their employer, as an employee in case of Intrapreneurship.
ROLE PLAY AND SIMULATION GAMES
Real time scenario are enacted by the students to provide them with the better understanding on how to cope with difficult situations and to make them proactive. Business simulation games are also conducted for the students.
Students are encouraged to read a non-fiction book predominantly relating to management studies and are made to present in front of faculty audience. Extensive discussions are also conducted in this regard to make them more critical about the book.
Discussions on videos of world renowned speakers and management gurus are conducted on weekly basis. Executives in various fields are invited to speak on a contemporary topic and their experiences.
Students are distributed with extensive real time case studies as a part of their course curriculum and are split into groups for conducting discussions. An interactive question and answer session with the faculty which improvises the student's ability to cope-up with similar situations and helps them in making strategic business decisions.
Students are assigned to each faculty member to provide one to one mentoring which helps in identifying the student's strength, weakness, addressing their grievances, guiding them to face the real world with confidence and commitment.
INDUSTRY INSTITUTION INTERACTION
Various entrepreneurs share their success stories, knowledge and strategies they use in their business. At the same time, their business models are critically analyzed by the students which paves way for a two way interaction and thereby, strengthening the core skills and competencies of the students.
INDUSTRY AND HOSPITAL VISITS
A one day visit to Global Hospitals and Health city, Sholinganallur, Chennai, Narayana Hridulaya, Bengaluru and Narayana Hridulaya Health City, Mysore, CMC, Vellore , JIPMER, PIMS, Pondicherry and three day visit to Kasturba Medical College, Manipal and Manipal University were undertaken by the students. The aims of these visits were to gain an exposure to the various working environments prevalent in other hospitals. It also helped the students to enrich their knowledge and understand problems faced by the hospital.

FINISHING SCHOOL PROGRAM
Finishing School is where the skills of each individual are honed and the students are prepared to face the challenges in the corporate world.
This programme organized by Sri Ramachandra College of Management every year was designed to improve positive attitude, belief of excellence, goal setting, public speaking, communication skills, group discussion, facing personal interview, decision making, problem solving, interpersonal skills and team building.
NABH Training is provided to MBA students to help them understand quality care in Health Care Organization. It will enable the students to create a culture of quality, patient safety, efficiency and accountability towards patient care.
