Responsibilities
1) Founder Head of the Dept of Radiotherapy ( from Aug 2005 to June 2008 ) at SVIMS and Head (I /c ) of the Dept of Medical Oncology at SVIMS from 2007 to 2008).
2) Drafted a project proposal for the first Oncology centre in Rayalaseema Region and received a financial grant for 3 crores from the Union Ministry of Health and Family welfare for the Radiotherapy Dept of SVIMS at Tirupati. In 2008.
3) Also received a grant of Rs 3 crores from the TTD for equipment purchase for the same department in 2007.
4) Member of Technical Committee for Radiotherapy equipment purchase under PMSSY scheme under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare under Govt of India in 2007.
5) Served as Senior Consultant (initially as Assistant Professor and subsequently as Associate Professor in the Dept of Radiation Oncology at Cancer Institute Adyar. Chennai from 2008 to 2012. Involved in PG training and research.

Helped to establish a state-of-the-art RT centre at SRMC which started clinical treatment from Jan 2017.The Dept is equipped with VERSA HD linac fitted with the 160 leaf MLC Agility and USG image guidance system Clarity which is the first of its kind in South India. 9.Member of Academic Council, Faculty Credentialing committee, Faculty promotion committee, Faculty quality cell and Radiation Safety committee of SRIHER. 10.Phd Guide at Sri Ramachandra University Chennai. 11.Started BSc (Hons) RTT course in Sri Ramachandra University Chennai with AERB approval. 12.Commencing MDRT PG program at SRMC from April 2020. CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
1) Planned and treated more than 7,000 patients successfully with various RT techniques over the last 20 years in various RCC’s of South India and reputed radiation centres in Chennai. 2) Youngest patient treated - 9 months old and oldest patient treated - 101 years of age
