Campus Environment Day
Every year March 8th is being celebrated at Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (Deemed to be University) as Campus Environment Day by the SRCWA to mark the Birth Anniversary of Smt.Kamalam Ramaswamy Udayar, wife of our Founder Chancellor N.P.V.Ramaswamy Udayar. On this day a theme is selected and essay and poem competitions and Quiz programmes are being organized for the women faculty and staff of the 9 constituent colleges of the Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (Deemed to be University).
We fondly recollect Smt.Kamalam Ramaswamy Udayar's passion for upkeep of our Campus Environment. Hence we resolved to take a pledge that we will continue to do our very best to maintain the serene ambience of our campus and keep it ever green and free of environmental health hazards for the benefit of generations to come.
Annually on this day we have Eco-walk and skit. This eco-walk is to create an awareness and protect the greenery of the campus. Slogan, poster and poetry competitions on the theme are conducted every year.
