Objectives of CISM

  1. AYUSH accreditation as “Drug Testing Laboratory” to evolve it as AYUSH Center for Indian System of Medicine and Quality Assurance
  2. Standardize and scientifically validate the Classical Siddha, Ayurveda formulations/Drugs
  3. Training for UG, PG and Ph.D students of Siddha and Ayurveda Medicine in Validation and Standardization of AYUSH Drugs
  4. Documentation and publication of Traditional medical knowledge
  5. To provide testing and certification of AYUSH drug formulations developed by industries
  6. To conduct R&D projects funded by industries and funding agencies
