The SRIHER Centre for Indian Systems of Medicine, Quality assurance and Standardization was set up in May 2005 to scientifically validate the Indian System of Medicine (ISM) drugs with a multidisciplinary approach. It has state of art technology to scientifically evaluate the quality, safety and efficacy of both herbal and herbo-metallic ISM drugs (Preclinical evaluation). The laboratory has fostered an interdisciplinary research approach and completed major projects funded by various funding agencies.
