FRESHER’S 2K19-20.

216 VOLT FROM THE FAMILY OF PIONEERS.

“Fresher’s party” In any college is an event which every fresher eagerly anticipates for from their time of admission. The 29^th of August 2019 was one such indelible day in the life of every fresher of AHS and Applied Psychology batch 2019-20 at the SRIHER campus. The fresher day was filled with laughter, excitement, eagerness, happiness and was a complete pack of bliss and joy. Fresher’s were asked to come in pink (boys) and yellow (girls) and the seniors were spotted in white.

The celebration started around 10am in the college auditorium with the SRIHER anthem followed by the warm welcome speech of all the dignitaries welcomed for the function. The event was beautifully hosted by our anchors Kirti rai and Vishali of the senior year. This was then followed by the cake cutting and the gift distribution to the juniors, symbol of welcoming them into the family of PIONEERS by the senior batch. The dignitaries, faculties were then introduced to the fresher’s. Words of the principal, Mr.Dr.S.Senthil kumar was very encouraging and boosted the confidence of the young talented minds who were eagerly looking forward for the beginning of their next milestone, the college life.

Dance and music performances given by some of the best dancers and singers of the senior batch marked the beginning of entertainment on this delightful occasion. Speeches of Student Council members Aravind (4^th year) and Charles Daniel (3^rd year) created a pleasant and a very welcoming environment for the fresher’s.

After all this warm greetings seniors arranged lunch for the juniors around 12:30 p.m.. When the juniors assembled back in the auditorium around 2:00 p.m., the excitement and fun of the program reached its extreme when the anchors went down to the audience and asked them to perform some random dares. Random music performances from the junior batch was like adding Cherry to pie. Eventually the vote of thanks was presented by Kirti and Vishali after which the fresher’s were largely encouraged by the seniors to dance to the rhythm of the DJ music marked the end of this astonishing celebration.

This phenomenal event was completely organised by the organising team, decoration team, hospitality team, discipline team and the representatives of the senior batch. This entire breath-taking event was captured through the lenses of Magesh, Jeffrey and Vishal of the senior year. “Unity is strength… when there is team work and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved “ said by Mattie Stepanek and this event organized by the senior batch proved this is not less than one such wonderful things.
