Dept. of Pediatrics & Division of Pediatric Hemato Oncology organized a fundraising event in aid of kids affected by cancer – a Pattimandram on the topic, ‘Social Networking and Mobile Communications: Friend for Today’s Medical Field’ adjudged by Prof. Solomon Pappaiah on 11th Mar. 2017. Ms. Bharathi Bhaskar, Prof. S. Rajendiran, Dept. of Pathology & Prof. S. Roopa, Dept. of Physiology spoke in favor of the topic while Mr. Raja, Prof. T. R. Muralidharan, HOD, Dept. of Cardiology & Prof. Julius Xavier Scott, Dept. of Pediatric Medicine spoke against it. It was attended by around 1200 members.
