Celebration of 75 years of India’s Independence
Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav

Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements. The official journey of “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav” commences on 12th March 2021 which starts a 75-week countdown to our 75th anniversary of independence and will end post a year on 15th August 2023.

Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Pharmacy organized an event commemorating the celebrations of 75 years of India’s Independence – SYMPOSIUM ON INDIA’S FREEDOM STRUGGLE. This symposium was organized through Google Meet on 12/03/2021 (Time: 2.55 p.m. to 4.15 p.m.). The event started with the Invocation Song & SRIHER Anthem. The welcome address was given by Principal Prof. Ciddi Veeresham followed by the introduction of speaker by our Vice Principal Dr. K. Chitra. The chief guest and Deputy Director General, UIDAI – Shri. R. Santana Gopalan, IAS delivered his speech on the History of India’s Freedom struggle.

Prize distribution for the Essay Competition conducted on the Topic “My India’s Freedom Struggle” for the Students of Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Pharmacy was announced along with the vote of thanks by Dr. K. Mangathayaru, Vice Principal (Addl) and the event concluded with the National anthem. The Judges of the Essay competition were felicitated by with a certificate of Appreciation.
