About the Department / Program
The Department of Chest & TB was initiated in 1989 as a separate unit dealing with imparting Under-graduate and Post-graduate education in Pulmonary medicine and also caters to para-clinical sciences like B.Sc AHS etc. The Department out-patient services work for 7 days a week with 60 inpatient beds a state of the art sleep lab, Pulmonary Function lab, Asthma, COPD, Smoking Cessation and Pulmonary Rehabilitation clinics. A modern bronchoscopy and thoracoscopy suites function on all working days. The department is NAAC accreditation and is run by full time experienced faculty.
