Centre for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research (CRMSCR)
The Center for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research was established in 2010 in the Central Research
Facility of Sri Ramachandra Institute for Higher Education and Research. The primary goals of the Centre are as
follows:
- To develop a Multidisciplinary approach to Tissue Engineering (TE) by integrating Stem Cell biology,
Materials and Advanced Molecular Techniques for translational research in Regenerative medicine.
- To Attract Funded Multi-disciplinary Research and foster collaborations with National, International
Institutions and Industry
- To develop specific Bioreactors and ‘Tailor – made’ scaffolds for Bioengineered Organoids and tissues
- To conduct symposia to create awareness among the Public and workshops, training Programmes for
modules in Regenerative Medicine
- To Evolve as a Centre for a “Bench to Bedside” approach by developing products for Clinical use in
Regenerative Medicine
