About the Department / Program
The mission of the Department of Medical Oncology is to offer comprehensive care in diagnosing and treating patients with solid tumours and haematological malignancies. The Department has specialist We have hematoncologist and paediatric oncologists. The Department is as well. We are committed to offering compassionate care along with personalized treatment for various cancer types with the apt use of chemotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy and immunotherapy. Our multi-disciplinary Tumor Board recommends an individualized treatment plan for every patient based on the latest scientific and technological evidences. The team of oncologists and hematologists at our department has the latest knowledge, expertise and experience for treating any type or stage of cancer. In order to provide personalized patient care, we work closely with a talented and dedicated team of professionals, comprising of physicians from other sub-specialty areas, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, behavioural scientists, nutritionists, dieticians , palliative care persons, , oncology nurses and physiotherapists.
