Collaborating Institutions:
A project on Cross National Understanding of terminal sufferings of palliative patients (CUTS) along with UK - four phases.
Awards:
• Dr. Aruna. S, received Bursary Award of £1,500 to attend the 11th palliative carecongress at Glasgow, Scotland, UK on 9th to 11th March 2016 to present the paper on Socio-Demographic Determinants of Holistic Needs among Hospitalized Terminally Ill Indian Patients.• Dr. Aruna.S, awarded “Thiru. Govinda Rao Best Research Publication Gold Medal- Faculty of Nursing” for best publication from the university (Sri Ramachandra University) for the year, 2014 under the Faculty of Nursing for a large number of indexed publications in Nursing.• Dr. Aruna.S received best paper award during 10th International Nurses Conference at Chennai (Jan2014) on “Premenstrual syndrome and depression among school students.”
