Academics
The Faculty members involve in meeting the curricular requirements of nursing students primarily. Other beneficiaries include undergraduate students of Trauma Care Management, Allied Health Sciences and Bachelor of Physiotherapy programmes. The faculty members use various modern and innovative teaching strategies like seminars, demonstrations, simulation, clinical presentations, conferences, workshops, projects, and discussions etc. which are of immense benefit to students. Student self learning desk, a self learning strategy is implemented to promote self learning behavior among students. The department lab is equipped with adequate number of international mannequins and simulators that help to amalgamate classroom teaching with skill learning successfully. The students are trained in the laboratory to acquire skills as per and their compliance is ensured using the competency check list.

The purpose of this course is to acquire knowledge and develop proficiency in caring for patients with medical and surgical disorders in varieties of healthcare settings and at home.

Postgraduate program:
It is designed to assist students in developing expertise and in depth knowledge in the field of medical surgical nursing. It will help students to appreciate the patient as a holistic individual and develop skill to function as a specialized medical surgical nurse. It will further enable the student to function as educator, manager and researcher in the field of medical surgical nursing.
M.Sc Nursing: Medical Surgical Nursing - Cardiovascular and thoracic nursing, Critical care nursing, Orthopedic nursing, Nephro-urology nursing, Gastrointestinal nursing, Oncology nursing, Neurosciences nursing.
