Professor Periyasamy, MS, M.Ch., FPCS
He graduated from Annamalai  University and did M.Ch from Sri Ramachandra University. He underwent Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery in Rajiv Gandhi University. He is currently working as a professor and Head of the Department in SRMC and is specialised in all spectrums of congenital Heart surgery, Valve Repair, minimally invasive cardiac surgery (cabg, valve, congenital) and Heart Failure Management (heart-lung transplant)

Professor J. Ramkumar MS, M.Ch.
He did M.Ch (CTVS) from Christian Medical College, Vellore in 2006 and worked as senior lecturer in CMC Vellore from 2006 to 2008. He worked as Consultant Cardiac Surgeons in Lakeshare Hospital, Cochin from 2008 to 2009. He joined Sri Ramachandra Hospital in 2010, now working as the associate professor in the department. Keen interest in the field of Coronary Artery surgery Valvular Heart Surgery, Surgery for heart failure and Aortic surgeries. He has several research publications in international journals and was the organising member of several Cardiothoracic Workshops conducted in CMC Vellore and SRMC.
