Goals And Objectives:

Acquire sound knowledge of the Skin, Sexually Transmitted diseases and leprosy in
   all aspects.
To gain comprehensive knowledge of various modalities of dermatologic
   therapy and to understand the principles including pharmaco therapeutics.
To be able to handle dermatological emergencies such as Vesiculo Bullous 
   disorders, Urticaria and acute skin failure.
To understand research methodologies and to carry out research activities.
Separate classes for Senior and Junior batches conducted by faculty
Tutorials, Small Group Discussion, Spotters, Viva Voce.

Departmental E-Library provision for updating the Clinical Knowledge
Dr. Krishnakanth (Associate Professor) has undergone two months of training in Lasers at YONSEI University, SEOUL  
Dr. Gayathri Rajesh (Senior Resident) has undergone 15 days of training in Cosmetic Procedures at Dr. Jamuna Pai Cosmetic Centre, Mumbai.
Dr. Mahalakshmi. V and Dr. Maharaja. K attended the updation course in Management of STD and HIV.
