Department Vision:
The department of General Surgery will strive to fulfill the needs of the community in achieving excellence in patient experience and clinical outcomes in General Surgery.
Goal :
To provide safe and effective General Surgery treatment for both surgical and non-surgical patients by performing thorough clinical examination and radiological evaluation.
Out Patient Service:
Outpatient services are provided between 8 am to 4 pm by the consultants of the department.

In Patient Services:
Elective services are provided screening services are rendered on all days. Patients requiring surgery are admitted in the wards. Round the clock 24/7 services are offered by a consultant assisted by a registrar and resident for surgical emergencies including trauma care. Cross referrals and trauma care support are other areas of activity.
