PAEDIATRIC WARDS
PAEDIATRIC INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (PICU)
• Multi parameter monitoring (including invasive pressure monitoring)

• Mechanical ventilation, high frequency ventilator

• Renal replacement therapy like hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis
• CVVH and plasmapharesis

CLINIC TIMINGS:
Monday to Saturday outpatient services: 8am – 8pm
Sunday: 8.00 am to 12 noon
Emergency consult: 24 x 7
Inpatient services: 24 x7
ICU services: 24 x 7
Children are admitted to the Paediatric ward either from Paediatric OPD or Emergency Room. Once they are received in the ward, they are treated by highly qualified and experienced pediatricians and pediatric nurses in a child friendly compassionate manner.
The general ward exclusively for children which has 120 beds,
There is a special ward with 29 beds, two procedure rooms, isolation room, nurses counters, rooms for duty doctors, wash area and toilets. There is a separate play room with play materials for children. A television is also provided with children’s programmes.
There are also private single and twin sharing rooms. There are also deluxe suits mainly for the international patients. Therapeutic interventions are provided by a multidisciplinary team of Doctors, Nurses, Dieticians, Social Worker and Physiotherapists.
The Paediatric Intensive Care Unit with trained intensivists and intensive care nurses provide round the clock care to critically ill children. Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is well equipped with:
• Pulse oximeter
• Mechanical ventilation, high frequency ventilator
• Infusion pumps/syringe pumps
• Renal replacement therapy like hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis
• CVVH and plasmapharesis
• ECMO
Bedside imaging services like ultrasound, X-ray, echocardiography, nitric oxide therapy were available. We also have a retrieval services to transport critically ill/injured children to our PICU.
EMERGENCY ROOM (ER)
Expert paediatric care is available for acutely ill children 24/7. Our ER provides 24-hour care to infants, children and adolescents with emergency medical, surgical and traumatic conditions. They are assessed and stabilised with zero delay by trained Doctors and Para Medical persons.
