Research focus
Faculty members of the department maintain active research programs covering a wide range of topics with emphasis on Cardiovascular science, Diabetes, Cancer biology, Arthritis, Obstetrics, Neurosciences and Molecular endocrinology. Research work is funded by grants from the institution as GATE projects and extramural funding agencies (ICMR, DST, DBT). Summer research fellowships are provided by the institution to create interest among students to do research.
